Missing a "HO"

Any of you that know me know I love to decorate for Christmas~
Don't know what happened this year
Between Ward party, RS party, Fam party, ASU party
shopping, being sick, etc., etc., etc~
Christmas just seemed to pass me by

Hardly any decorating at my house~
not even a wreath on the front door
no lights outside
My tree sat in the middle of the living room floor for 3 days
NOTHING on it!!
Finally lights and a few balls~

I'm even missing a "HO".........


Seriously........

I just couldn't be creative because I really wanted a totally different look
Hot pink, purple, lime green and teal
WHAT?
Where did that come from?

but..........
the Red Cup club had our Christmas party tonight
and looky ~ looky
My BFF Terri got me started for next year.......

So watch out~
I have big plans for after Christmas sales
and my decorating will be "over the top"
next year~promise!!

There's a little corner in my TV room ~
this is where the computer lives and where I sit to FB and blog.....
but,
I haven't sat down at this computer for at least a week~
but,
tonight seemed to be the perfect night to grab a few minutes and check on my peeps on FB and do a little blog stalking
but,
when I arrived at said corner to use the computer I found a sticky little mess.
I asked Grandpa about it~
he blamed it on the GRANDS~
I asked the GRANDS about it~
they blamed it on Grandpa~
but,
a little windex, paper towels and elbow grease it's all clean again,
but,
the little sticky tracks left behind are from 3 of my fav guys
and as much as I love this little corner of my home to be clean
I'm so glad they left those sticky tracks on the computer desk and on my
HEART too!!

We've been busy with these 2 little guys~
Piano recitals, Band concerts, trips to Starbucks for a milkshake,
Christmas shopping, games of Apples to Apples~
I LOVE doing anything with these little boys!!
They're going to make handsome missionaries one of these days, (minus the faux hawk) don't you think?

Have you ever had a friend you don't know what you'd do without her?

She does the nicest things for me~
She brings out the best in me~
She's always there, no matter what~
She goes above and beyond~
She does things for me before I can even ask
She is unconditional~
She goes to battle for me~
Can't live without her and don't want to try!!

I love these bright "Christmas" colors!
I haven't put my tree up yet because I don't know how to decorate it......then I saw this and "THAT'S IT"!
I want my tree to look like this wreath.....
hummmmmmmm....any ideas?

Meet Buffy and PJ~

She belongs to the centerpieces in the last post....
Hard to believe ~ she should still be that little girl!
Buffy totally love me from the minute I came into their family
and I loved her right back.....
There was just something about that girl.....
loved me unconditionally and would follow me around like a little puppy and I loved it!!
I remember she would come over for sleep overs and we would play tricks on Grandpa!
One time when he was asleep Buffy wanted to put make-up on him~
so we did.....FUNNY!! Lipstick and eyeshadow and blush.
He was a good sport and Buffy, I will never forget that!
