I made this yummy cake.....it's a keeper.
Thanks to my BFF, Marla for the yummy recipe.
Sour Cream Chocolate Chip Bundt Cake
Mix these ingredients together and set aside.
3 cups flour
3tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp soda
3/4 tsp salt
beat together 1 cup butter with 1 cup sugar until creamy.
beat in 3 eggs one at a time until fluffy. then add dry ingredients and
and 1 cup sour cream, 2 tsp mexican vanilla and beat well.
add 2 to 4 tbs water. batter should be thick but not like cookie dough.
spray bundt pan, pour 1/3 of batter then 1/2 filling, pour another 1/3 and the last
half of filling, then the remaining batter. bake at 350* for approx. 1 hour, my
oven takes about 45 min.
filling: 1 cup choc. chips and 1/2 cup brown sugar
glaze; 3 tbs butter 1 tbs flour and beat together. add 3 tbs warm water,
1 tsp mexican vanilla, 1 3/4 cups powder sugar. beat together and pour
over cake after cooling about 15 min. (still warm). i cover the whole cake
with the glaze.
