Meghan had a GoFundMe account trying to raise $4,500 in order to meet the deductible to have surgery.  

Guess what....she made it.
She'll have Dr's appts. and schedule surgery soon.

I love these people....especially the little ones!! 

For the record........I don't like eggs much. 

I've been on a low carb diet most of my life (or so it seems) and I've had to eat plenty of eggs....and I can hardly get one down anymore.

But the craziest thing is........every once in a while I get hungry for an egg salad sandwich.  Go figure!

I'm sitting in my chair in the TV room and on my left is Sweetiepie.  He's usually my right had man but when we're relaxing he's my left hand man!  Also, to the left of Sweetiepie is grand kids toys.....all of my LOVES hang out in this room!!

My  favorite time of day is 7:30 am on Saturday mornings cuz that's the time my sweet grand babies come to play!!

I used to look forward to sleeping in on Saturday but now I look forward to waking up early!!

I love to make pretty, crafty things for my home.

I don't do a lot of crafts any more.....it's becoming more difficult for me everyday.  The green wreath was my Pinterest craft for this spring and hope there are a few more HOBBY, crafts in my future!!

I love the beach.....to sit on it, to walk on  it, to smell it and to hear it.....but I don't like to go in the water!!

My favorite beach to sit on is Catalina!

Seems like it's the perfect place to  relax!!

But.......I promise.....there is no place I'd rather be than home!!

I'm just not home enough!!!

First thing I think of when I think of 

SPRING

is achoo!!

Allergies are the worst......but no matter how bad they get.....I look at the beautiful flowers on the porch and it's all worth it

and SPRING is my favorite time of year!!

These are not mine.....they belong to Sweetiepie!!

I made bunny sugar cookies for the grand kids and this is what he likes me to do with the left over dough......make them thin, brown, cut them into squares with sugar on top cookies.  

This guy is crazy!! 

Some days these two are GOOD TOGETHER.....

other days not so much!!  

Today they spent the morning at Grandma's house and we had so much fun.  They love balloons.....we made sugar bunny cookies, blew bubbles, played with play dough, and played with the hose.  

Saturday morning is my favorite time of the week.....it's just me and these two babies!!  I hope they have as much fun as I do......

but now I'm pooped!!  Maybe I had too much fun!!

Unfortunately........this is my shape!!  

I fight it every stinkin' day of my life.........

you'd think I could be happy with a round shape....

but I'll keep trying to change it~and what shape would I choose?

It's so hard to take a picture of something in one hand while trying to use the camera with the other......holy crap!! 

If you know me very well you know I usually always have a cup in my hand.....and it's usually full of ICE!!  

I used to always have a "red solo cup" (tell me you didn't just sing that quietly in your head) I did.  But then, I found how much longer my ICE would last if I used the Styrofoam cup instead.  Yeah, I've put my nails through the cup a time or two....but sure does keep my drink colder and ICE lasts much longer!!  

What's in your hand?

Purple was my Mom's favorite color.   I can still see her bedroom.  It was yellow walls with purple drapes, bedspread, pillows etc.  It was always spotless, I remember it being cooler that then rest of the house and seemed to be a quiet place, which is more than I can say about the rest of the house.  Every time I see purple decorations I think of her and wonder if there is PURPLE in heaven.  

Dad had a birthday.....93 yrs. old.  

So, in true Holyoak fashion we had to have a party! 

All who could attend came to Sacrament Meeting and surprised him .......then on to Hoke's house for a YUMMY lunch!

This family knows how to party!  

It was a fattening weekend for sure!!  

Sad day!

 My cousin Will Napier passed away today after a struggle with cancer.  Went to see him New year's day in the hospital.  He was in a coma but I got to squeeze his hand and tell him I loved him.  He will be missed....especially every 4th of July at our family reunions!!

New Year's Eve 2014

We had a nice dinner with Clyde and Marla.  Instead of going out we grilled steaks and played games at our house.  About 10:00 Clyde's phone rang and Logan locked himself out  of his car.  Sweetiepie to the rescue.

It was the coldest night we've had in a long, long time and it was raining. He had plenty of help.....even had someone to hold the umbrella and flashlight while Marla and I sat in the warm car.  Happy New Year!!   We were asleep before midnight....and had a lazy, quiet Jan. 1, 2015.  Just the way we like it!!
