Friday night was Fabulous Fairfield Friday Night
(Enrichment Super Activity)
Here's a few of the goodies I snagged.....
It helps that my BFF, Terri has the best darn stuff
and I got a sneak peek......SCORE!
Tanner and Rylle surprised us Sunday evening and Tanner made me this picture.....I love it!
I wouldn't take stuff down and hang just anything in my breakfast room, but that's exactly what I did with this! A work of ART!
how tall and thin he made me.
Thank you Tanner....you made your Grandma look beautiful!

but this haunted house is the cutest thing we've ever seen!
So many details....I wish I knew how to use my camera better
because you can't believe some of the cute things.....right down to the shingles!!
Every bit of it is stuff you could eat...don't know that you'd want to
but that's part of making a gingerbread house.....make it out of
stuff you can eat. Cheetos, chocolate, licorice, etc., etc., etc.
Yep, you guessed it....an "M" word!
Placed there for my benefit....of course!
The boys giggled and giggled over that....love it when Grandma is scared.
Check out the picture below....this cracked me up!
If you knew these two it would crack you up too!
Talk about crazy......
"NEED HELP.....CALL POLICE"
Oh, that is more true than you realize......
she needs help!
She's a crazy lady and I ♥ her!
♥ you too Sandi!!

this recipe is worth it....for sure!
2 Granny Smith apples
2 cans crescent rolls
2 sticks butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoons vanilla
1 small can Mountain Dew
Peel and core apples. Cut apples into 8 slices each. Roll each apple slice in a crescent roll. Place in a 9 x 13 buttered pan. Melt butter, then add sugar and barely stir. Add vanilla, stir, and pour over apples. Pour Mountain Dew around the edges of the pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Serve with ice cream, and spoon some of the sweet sauces from the pan over the top.Found it here

Do you remember our
"Shabby Ladies Boutique"
Well, this year, instead, we're having a "GARAGE SALE"
Some of the Shabby (or crabby) Ladies have been cleaning and doing some redesigning.....ahemmmm....
that would be namely, Terri, Bev and Marla.
So, I got a call from Terri yesterday saying she was cleaning out her back room (we all know what that means) and wanted to have a garage sale.
Marla and I just redid a few rooms in our homes and are getting rid of a bunch of stuff too!
So, if you're looking for a bunch of real cool stuff you won't want to miss this!!
So, here's the scoop........
Saturday, Oct. 24
7:00 AM or until we get sick and tired of sitting out there or until all our stuff is gone.
Terri Hill's house....address to come later.
Spread the word....we'll have treats to sell too....you know,
MARLA'S CARMEL CORN
AND COKE'S AND WATER
Mark your calendars!

Smell my Feet
I found some black plates at Goodwill a few months ago.
I used them for a baby shower and then wondered what I was going to do with them......but then, remembering what my BFF Terri taught me, I decided to decorate with them.
These now sit on the desk in my living room.
I'm having fun decorating for Halloween this year just using a bunch of junk!
Show us some of the things you've done around your house to get ready for this SPOOKY holiday.

Last night the kids were busy playing while grownups were visiting at the table.....We always have a good time when they visit....but we always find little surprises all over the house.
Last night, I think they played Easter Bunny, hiding the candy out of the Witches cauldron that was full of goodies.......
