First, let me apologize for my crappy camera! Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Needless to say, a new camera is on the list of purchases in the near future!!
This has been a weekend of
firsts!! I'll explain! We canned beans and made Strawberry freezer jam. Yummmmmmy!

First time I've ever canned anything!! I think I was called to be the Enrichment Leader in my ward so I would finally step upto the plate and get busy working on our food storage. With the help of some real knowledgeable folks from our ward and some good friends I can finally say I am finally getting
PREPARED!
We bottled two batches of pinto beans. First batch we forgot to add the salt, but I think the second batch turned out perfect. We'll have to open a bottle and check them out, just to make sure we did it right. Thanks Jan for your good instruction and the use of your pressure cooker.
And...........here's the finished product.
Now tell me, just how impressed are you? I still think they'd look better with a bow on the bottle, don't you?

Looks like a beautiful spring day in Salt Lake City today......not! The high was 45 degrees! That's winter to me.
Now this is what a beautiful spring day looks like!! Yep.....72 degrees here today. Now that is SPRING!! 
This is what I plan to do zzzzzzzzzzzzzz! I love General Conference weekend. Get to hear conference talks on Sat. and Sun. and get to watch it all in my JAMMIES!!!! I plan to catch a few zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz's too!! Enjoy your weekend!
