Good thing the first word is PEACE.......and not DRAMA.....I couldn't handle much more of that!

We're awesome.....

my goal is to do a whole year and have a book made up

just like Roxy! 

I really don't have a whole lot to be sad about......

but this will do it to me every single, stinkin' Monday morning!

I just don't know where the weekends go~

 Some of you may know we had to buy a new stove the day after Thanksgiving.  We went to Spencer's and bought a new ceramic top, black stove.  I thought it would look nice with my dark granite counter tops and I also thought it would be easy to take care of and keep clean. 

WRONG!!! 

This stove has been the hardest thing to keep clean!   It's a vicious circle!  Every time the stove is used, it has to be cleaned.  Everything leaves it's mark and I find myself buffing this stove top every single time it's used.  

I hate this thing~but I'm also stuck with it. 

Just a warning~don't ever, ever, ever buy a one. 

No matter how nice it looks....You'll always be going in circles trying to keep it clean!  

Once it's cleaned it does look pretty good...........

but it will be a vicious circle...I promise!

Making a banner for Maisy.......

and hanging pom pom/flowers from the ceiling.......Marla had to stand in the middle of the dining room table......she and I make a good pair cuz there is no way I could do that!! 
We're getting ready for a baby shower!! 

Other than the usual {{going to work}}~

We went to dinner tonight

YUMMO!!  

 I have some black and I have some white in my home, but not much that is black and white......and lately, everything in our house is in living, bright color! 

We're getting ready for a baby shower and I'm like one of the storks little elf's....painting, glittering and making everything look baby shower ready.

 But, I did find a little note from Tanner, in blue and white print on a black board......

Notes like this make my ♥ happy!  

The last time I had an anxiety attack I was in the balcony of Gammage Auditorium.......looking down.  

I had to take 1/2 of a XanaX to get down.

Not a good feeling!  I have a fear of heights.......and I won't be doing this ever again!!
 

I'd much rather be looking down from this cute balcony.....

that just makes more sense!

but, tonight when I got home from work, Sweetiepie had vacuumed the living room and made

Oriental Salad for dinner.....my FAV!

 and for all of this and much, much more....I am grateful!!  

ORIENTAL SALAD

1 head Nappa cabbage
1 bunch green onions
2 pkgs. Ramen (I use chicken flavor)
5 oz. slivered almonds
4-6 Tbsp. butter

dressing:
1/4 c. rice wine vinegar
3/4 cup oil
1/2 cup sugar (I use Splenda)
3 Tbsp. soy sauce


Directions:

Chop and mix the vegetables. Refigerate until served. Melt 4-6 Tbsp. of butter. Add almonds and crushed Ramen noodles. Add Ramen seasonings and brown for about 8 minutes. Mix vinegar, oil, sugar and soy sauce. Shake up well. Just before serving, mix the vegetables, crunch and mix together.

Last thing I bought..........

Dance festival all day yesterday.....

until 9:30 last night~

Sweetiepie was starving.....so was I.

I've tried for 45 minutes to do a post and I can't figure this new blogger (piece of crap) out....so until I do......I'm done!!  Anyone that can help......call me or msg me because this is driving me crazy!!

As you know, we're adding a baby girl to our family!

And my oh my....how "baby bottles" have changed. 
I think you have to have a degree in baby bottles to understand how to read and use some of these.

I cry every time I hear it!

I had a good day today...........
I felt pretty good....

• had house guests (Char, Roxy, Alexandra and Sydney)
• worked on a decorating project for one of Terianne's friends (started last night~finished today)
• taught Char and Roxy how to make 1 hr. bread
• Played a game of 5 crowns with Char and Roxy and Sweetiepie and girls
• got all the costumes for the dance festival gathered, marked and packed up ready for next weekend
• had 3 folks from the ward drop by (still in my nightie) awesome!!
• made an Oriental Salad for the fish fry tonight
• finally got into the tub about 3:30 and got cleaned up for said fish fry
• gathered up stuff to decorate tables for said fish fry (Sweetiepie was in charge)
• went to High Priest Fish fry early to decorate tables
• ate to much at the fish fry
• undid the decorations from the fish fry
• made a k-billion trips to the car loading and unloading the decorations
• helped Sweetiepie unload the car with all the decorations
• crap (decorations) all over the breakfast room (can't drag myself to put it up)
• started a load of tablecloths
• sat down and started to cry
• my knee is killing me!!
  

So, I applied pain patches (under red duct tape)
and started to reach out to some of my blog buddies......
and I learned....................

• I missed Diane's sale at the Rustic Hutch (crap) I really, really, really wanted to go!! I forgot all about it......just too much going on!
• I am always uplifted by Paula's sweet thoughts.....decided I need to quit whining and count my blessings......so I did!
• I learned my sweet friend Sassy has to have a couple of surgeries....and probably one of them is on her knee~kind of makes my knee seem not so bad after all!

Sweetiepie brought me red tulips today and I took a pain pill
and we'll start it all over again tomorrow!!!!
minus the pain, of course!

I found myself getting to give a baby shower.......and I need your help!

Yep, I sit on my bed~
Sweetiepie brings in 2 scrambled eggs (I'm sick to death of eggs)
but must have protein and no carbs......

and, I watch the Today Show and put on my make-up.
I'm not a breakfast person....and now you know why!
I'd probably love breakfast if I could have one of SASSY'S
