If you decide to do the April challenge
you can do it any way you want~
you don't have to choose a picture......
all you have to do is blog!
Remember, this is getting us blogging again~
my life is stupid sometimes and I don't have anything to blog about........
I promise you, I would never blog about feet, but these challenges have helped me take a look around and find something interesting in my otherwise {{DUMB}}life!
Some of you have darling kids (Em) or cute dogs (Jenny)
and some of the others of us just get to blog about feet!
But, I tell you my dear blogger family.......
I love getting to take a peek into your life and see what you're up to.......and I love leaving you a comment and I love hearing comments from you too........
So, come on......JUMP on the April challenge.
Yeah for Emily!!!
I'm not wild about feet.....
but I do love shoes, I just don't like to wear them!
Here are a couple of my fav kind of shoes~
"bunny slippers" to keep your piggies warms!

Yes, it's true.........
they (my parents) tell the story of them sitting at the kitchen table, trying to think of a name for their first child..........
and there was a jar of BEVERLY peanut butter sitting on the table......and they thought, hey, that's a great name for a little girl.
Gosh, my parents were deep, weren't they?
I'm just glad there wasn't a dish of "ROLO's", or a box of "CHEER", or a roll of "TP" or a can of "BUD"....well, you get the picture....who knows what they might have come up with.

Here's the cute notes we came home to after church today~
Eggs (over easy), sausage, grits and cinnamon toast and juice.
Grandpa loves making a big breakfast for everyone~

Anyone that knows me knows I am NOT an animal kind of person..........
but, it never fails...I can go to someone's house that has a cat and the cat will immediately come over to me......just to annoy me because they know I hate cats!!
If I did have an animal......this would be what it would be like....yeah, I can picture me doing this!!
PS...he's potty trained and doesn't shed!! I think I'll keep him!!

I love this time of year when the strawberries are plentiful, good and cheap!!
Once the strawberries were cleaned and sliced
here's the kitchen sink, full of hot soapy water, getting ready to clean up the kitchen. My sinks are DEEP and I really appreciate that~
love the stainless steel too!

Ingredients
FOR THE CAKE:- 2 cups Flour
- 2 cups Sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 4 Tablespoons (heaping) Cocoa
- 2 sticks Butter
- 1 cup Boiling Water
- 1/2 cup Buttermilk
- 2 whole Beaten Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- _____
- FOR FROSTING:
- 1/2 cup Finely Chopped Pecans
- 1-3/4 stick Butter
- 4 Tablespoons (heaping) Cocoa
- 6 Tablespoons Milk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1 pound (minus 1/2 Cup) Powdered Sugar
Preparation Instructions
Note: I use an 18x13 sheet cake pan.
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
In a saucepan, melt butter. Add cocoa. Stir together.
Add boiling water, allow mixture to boil for 30 seconds, then turn off heat. Pour over flour mixture, and stir lightly to cool.
In a measuring cup, pour the buttermilk and add beaten eggs, baking soda, and vanilla. Stir buttermilk mixture into butter/chocolate mixture. Pour into sheet cake pan and bake at 350-degrees for 20 minutes.
While cake is baking, make the icing. Chop pecans finely. Melt butter in a saucepan. Add cocoa, stir to combine, then turn off heat. Add the milk, vanilla, and powdered sugar. Stir together. Add the pecans, stir together, and pour over warm cake.
Cut into squares, eat, and totally wig out over the fact that you’ve just made the best chocolate sheet cake. Ever.

I had a hard time with this one.......
I'm famous for redoing a piece of furniture or a room

So, I remembered something I saw on Pinterest that stuck with me.........
I'll admit I haven't tried it yet, but it's on my list of some things to do!
I have a couple of these nasty cookie sheets.......
I'm ready to put this to the test. I'll try to take pictures and show you my
