This one's for you SHARON

Funny how my posts for today all go together. Here's how:
  • Sharon is Ben's aunt
  • Ben is the groom at the engagement dinner
  • Sharon attended the dinner too
  • I served a yummy recipe called Harvest Pumpkin Brownies
  • This yummy recipe originally came from Deny, the birthday girl
  • Sharon called and wanted the recipe for the yummy brownies
Probably TMI (too much information) but it's my blog and I'll share all kinds of nonsense with you. So Sharon, here is the YUMMY recipe!

HARVEST PUMPKIN BROWNIES
In a mixing bowl, combine:
1 (15 oz) can of pumpkin
4 eggs
3/4 c. vegetable oil
2 t. vanilla

Beat until mixed well. In a separate bowl, combine:
2 C. flour
2 C. sugar
1 T. pumpkin pie spice
2 t. cinnamon
2 t. baking powder
1 ts. baking soda
1/2 t. salt

Stir into pumpkin mixture and mix well. Pour into a greased 15" X 10 " pan.
Bake at 359 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until brownies test done with a toothpick. Cool.

Meanwhile prepare sauce:

Carmel Sauce
1/2 C. butter
2 T. light corn syrup
1 1/4 brown sugar
1/2 C. whipping cream

Bring first three ingredients to a slow boil then add the whipping cream. Serve warm over pumpkin harvest brownies. I put an individual brownie on a plate and then drizzle it with the carmel sauce. Enjoy!
